All that is required to link a Britannia Contract to an Item411/Market Xpert Bid is that they both have the same Name.

The easiest way to create a linked contract is to follow the steps in Creating an Item411/Market Xpert Bid from an Existing Britannia Contact and to name the Item411/Market Xpert Bid ID the exact same name as the Britannia contract file name.

For example, if you use the file name "TEST1" as in the Creating an Item411/Market Xpert Bid from an Existing Britannia Contract instructions, then you would create your bid in Item411/Market Xpert also named "TEST1".

When the file name in your local contract folder is the exact same name as your Item411/Market Xpert bid, then the bid and contract are considered 'linked'.
